Hirdaramani Industries – Kahathuduwa

Hirdaramani Kahathuduwa facility is the 4th Hirdaramani Group factory to receive LEED certification. It pursued LEED for Operations and maintenance v2009 and obtained Platinum certification in 2015 with 86 points. Key sustainability features of the project includes 12% renewable energy use, 75% reuse or recycle of durable goods, 30% reduction in indoor potable water use 100% reduction in potable landscape water use, use of Integrated pest management (IPM) practices etc.
