LEED Classifications - V4
New Construction
- Valid for the Life of the Building.
- The Building itself is designed and built to GREEN standards.
- Process to start from Day 1 with the Building Design to obtain maximum benefit.
- 2 stage process of LEED Submission.
Interior Design & Construction
- Commercial Interiors addresses the specifics of tenant spaces primarily in office, retail, and institutional buildings.
- Tenants who lease their space or do not occupy the entire building are eligible.
- The interior of the building is designed and constructed to
GREEN standards. - 2 Step process of LEED Submission.
- After the LEED certification the occupant or tenant must commit to remain in the same location for a minimum of 10 years.
Operation and Maintenance
- Valid for 5 years from date of
certification. - The Building Maintenance and Operational improvement to improve Energy and Resource efficiency.
- Building should be in operation for minimum of 1 year Single Stage LEED Submission.
